In the Control editor manual it says the up/down arrows on S61 will change templates (hence Midi ch) but it doesn't.unless you also have to be using KK. Now I find that the S61 can't send on more than one Midi channel.in order to change Midi submit chn you have to open Control Editor and make a new Template for each of the 16 Midi channels.
ever since i got the unit I've been loading Kontakt (or whatever other instrument) straight to DAW without KK, as it's easier to search presets etc. I've had the S61 & KK for 3 or 4 years, and every time I decide to give KK another try in my DAW I waste a whole day searching forums for answers, instead of making music.
I think you referred to this above, so I'll check your suggestion. I have the original S61 Keyboard, not Mk2, and working in Pro Tools, if I load Kontakt from within Kontrol the browser only shows the factory / library presets in Hyperion Strings Elements, but not my own edited presets.
